Frederick’s of Hollywood has been an iconic clothing brand since 1947. Founded by Frederick Mellinger, the company originally created lingerie for women and quickly became known as a go-to destination for sexy lingerie. In 1953, they introduced their first ready-to-wear line for women with the launch of The Hollywood Collection, which featured more daring styles than usual. Over the decades, Frederick’s has remained popular in part due to its commitment to creating provocative pieces and pushing boundaries. They’ve collaborated with many iconic designers over the years including Christian Audigier and Betsey Johnson to bring fashion-forward collections that embrace female sexuality and self-expression.
