Red tweed, a close silhouette and a neckline that does its own accessorizing. This
vintage Honorina Alina linen dress combines a textured linen-cotton weave with hand-
beaded and crocheted floral detail. Dating to approximately the late 1950s/early
1960s, it has the fitted shape of a classic wiggle dress, with a sleeveless cut 
that also works layered over a blouse.

## A red vintage linen dress with a detailed neckline

The fabric provides the structure; the beadwork softens its clean lines. A coordinating
red nylon lining finishes the interior, and a red metal Corrente zipper closes the
back. The interior label reads Honorina Alina and “P. Alegre.”

Our model wears it over a patterned collared shirt to give the dress a more playful,
everyday mood. For evening, leave the arms bare and keep the accessories simple.
