This Spencer Jeremy silk skirt suit pairs a tropical floral top with a black skirt:
vivid color above, a quieter textured pattern below. Pink and purple flowers, turquoise
leaves and yellow accents fill the top, while its padded shoulders, full short sleeves
and peplum waist give the late-1980s–early-1990s silhouette a nod to the 1940s.

## Two pieces, several ways to wear them

Wear the set together for the full shape, or let the floral top do the work with
plain trousers or jeans. Its double-breasted front and shaped waist make it more
structured than a loose blouse. The black skirt has an elasticized waistband and
a small back slit; its subtle woven pattern gives it a life of its own with a simple
knit.
