This vintage Louis Vuitton Monogram Speedy bag has the rounded shape, short leather
handles and brown patterned canvas that make the style so recognizable. Its distinctive
detail is the side push lock attached to the zipper pull. Warm, darkened leather
and softened canvas give this particular piece a well-used appearance.

## Construction and details

 * Brown Monogram coated canvas with tan leather handles and trim
 * Two rolled top handles for hand carrying
 * Top zipper with a side push-lock fitting; the close-up shows a Talon-marked zipper
   pull
 * Brown textile interior with a leather reinforcement strip
 * Leather strip across the exterior base and piping around the side panels

## Condition

The handles and trim show darkening, creases and rubbed areas. The metal fittings
have visible finish wear, and the material around the ends of the zipper shows fraying.
There are marks in the lining and folds in the canvas. Please use the detailed photographs
to assess these signs of use rather than interpreting the overall silhouette as
a promise of pristine condition.

This bag is out of stock and remains in the Quirk archive. The gallery documents
the actual piece previously offered, including its interior, closure and ruler views.
The photographs do not establish the operation of the lock or zipper, and a key
is not shown.
