Michelangelo’s David meets a New York sky in this Quirk original collage. The clouds
come from the 35mm photography of Quirk creative director, Melynda Choothesa. A 
cotton-feel surface and brushed fleece reverse give the image a soft, wearable canvas.

The large, pale profile stretches across the front against blue and white clouds,
while the sleeves carry the sky around the body. It puts a familiar Renaissance 
image into an everyday crewneck, pairing the sculpture’s sharp outline with the 
softer, shifting shapes of the photograph.
