Tastes Like Strawberry shorts take an original hand-drawn illustration by [Quirk founder and designer Melynda](https://shopquirkla.com/vintage-fashion-boutique/)
and repeat it across a green ground. Red berries, dark outlines and scattered seeds
give the print the looseness of the drawing itself. The long, relaxed shape leaves
plenty of room for it.

## Behind the print

Melynda Choothesa started with watercolor markers and a little spring-and-summer
tinkering. The strawberries take their cue from the fruit prints of the late 1960s
and early 1970s, with loose hand-drawn lines rather than a perfectly tidy repeat.
This contemporary Quirk original brings that playful mood to an easy pair of shorts.

## Strawberry shorts with a relaxed fit

Lightweight stretch microfiber moves easily, with an elastic waistband and a flat
white drawstring to adjust the fit. Mesh side pockets keep small essentials close.
Wear them with a plain tank, an oversized white shirt or an open blazer; the berries
supply the color.

 * Relaxed unisex cut with an approximately 6.3-inch (16 cm) inseam

## Fit and measurements

Compare the chart with shorts you already like. These are flat garment measurements:
waist width is measured straight across the unstretched waistband, not around your
body. The inseam runs from the crotch to the hem. Measurements may vary by up to
1 inch (2.5 cm).
