# Tastes Like Strawberry Bandana

The strawberries on this strawberry print bandana began as drawings by [Quirk founder and designer Melynda](https://shopquirkla.com/vintage-fashion-boutique/).
Red fruit, loose black outlines and a green ground give “Tastes Like Strawberry”
its unmistakable character. Fold it into a headscarf, knot it at the neck, or let
a corner peek from a jacket pocket.

## Behind the print

Melynda Choothesa drew the fruit with watercolor markers while exploring retro-inspired
spring and summer patterns. Think late-1960s and early-1970s fruit prints, with 
a few imperfect lines left in for personality. The drawing is a Quirk original; 
the scarf is newly made for your order.

## Choose cotton or silk

Both fabrics carry the same original print, with a different feel. The 100% cotton
option is a lightweight lawn with a matte surface and a little structure. The 100%
silk satin option has a smoother, lustrous surface and a fluid drape. Choose your
fabric in the selector before adding a size to your bag.

## Three square sizes

The measurements below describe the whole scarf laid flat. A smaller square makes
a compact neckerchief or hair tie; a larger square gives you more fabric to fold,
wrap and knot. Check the dimensions for your intended styling rather than relying
on the age label in the selector.

Each scarf is handmade to order with a fine hem. Small variations in the finished
dimensions are possible.

Our model wears the bandana as a headscarf with coordinating pieces. The scarf is
