Somewhere between a resort pant, a technical jogger, and the wonderfully experimental
sportswear of the turn of the millennium.

These cream and pale-lavender pants have a softly washed abstract dye effect that
shifts across the fabric rather than repeating like a conventional print. In some
areas the lavender markings read almost like water, clouding, or ghosted reptile
texture against the warm ivory ground.

The construction gives them considerably more personality than the standard drawstring
pant. A fully elasticized waistband is finished with a braided gold-tone cord and
tan end caps, while the curved side pockets reveal contrasting open-mesh insets.
The legs stay relaxed through the seat and thigh before gradually tapering into
gathered elastic ankle cuffs.

The combination of washed color, mesh detailing, elasticized construction, and sport-
meets-resort proportions feels particularly at home in the late 1990s and early
2000s, when casual menswear was becoming increasingly experimental with technical
and clubwear-influenced details.

On Kaden, they sit comfortably at the waist with easy room through the upper leg
and a clean tapered finish at the ankle.

Style them with a graphic button-front as photographed, a fitted black tank, an
oversized white shirt, vintage leather, a cropped knit, or even a sharply cut blazer.
The cream and faded lavender palette is muted enough to work almost like a neutral.

**Fit Notes**

Estimated to best fit a modern men’s **M/L**.

The elastic waistband sits comfortably on Kaden without appearing stretched to capacity.
There is visible ease through the seat and upper thighs, with the legs tapering
gradually toward elasticized ankle cuffs.

A modern men’s Medium should receive the relaxed fit shown. A modern men’s Large
should receive a closer fit through the waist and seat while retaining moderate
ease through the legs.

Because of the elastic waistband and adjustable drawcord, these have greater sizing
flexibility than a fixed-waist trouser.

**Condition**

**Very Good Vintage Condition.**

The pants present very well overall. The waistband and ankle elastic appear functional,
the drawcord is present, the mesh pocket insets appear intact, and the visible seams
remain secure.

The cream and lavender coloration is intentionally irregular throughout as part
of the overall dye effect. Light handling creases, subtle tonal variation, and a
few faint age-related surface marks are visible in the photographed areas and are
consistent with vintage wear.

No major holes, large concentrated stains, significant seam separation, or obvious
damage to the mesh inserts is visible in the photos.

Please review all images closely, as they form part of the condition description.

**Styling Notes**

Treat these more like a neutral trouser than a loud tie-dye piece.

Black, cream, dusty purple, charcoal, faded denim, chocolate brown, navy, and washed
grey all work beautifully against the pale palette. A clean oversized shirt sharpens
them immediately, while a ribbed tank or worn-in tee leans into the Y2K casualwear
side.

For something less expected, pair them with loafers or sleek boots instead of sneakers
and add a cropped leather jacket or oversized tailored blazer.

**Styled With**

The black, white, and purple abstract-print shirt, loafers, jewelry, and other styling
pieces shown in the photographs are separate inventory and are not included.

**Curation Note**

Each Quirk piece is hand selected by our team for quality, construction, styling
potential, and point of view.
