QUIRK is run by Melynda and a small team of working stylists. Alongside the shop, we’re on creative projects, meeting appointment clients, making sourcing visits and buying trips, and running estate sales with Cockatoo Estates. That work helps us bring you an interesting mix of new and pre-loved finds.
We also spend time a block away at The People’s Free Boutique by QUIRK →, our community project providing clothing and essentials free of charge to people affected by wildfires and displacement.
Sometimes that means we need to step away from the showroom during regular hours. We’d hate to miss you: please check in before heading over, especially if you’re coming to see a particular piece or meet with Melynda.

A visit planned around you
Request a visit on a non-open day, before or after hours, or dedicated shopping time with Melynda. Tell us about the pieces, sizes or occasion you have in mind. We’ll reply with availability and next steps.
The $50 deposit applies only to special-hours visits or guaranteed private fittings. It becomes credit toward purchases or rental fees, in the shop or online; unused credit remains available for later. Each new special-hours appointment or private fitting requires a new deposit. Give us at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. Payment arrangements follow availability review; this form does not collect payment.
A request does not reserve a time. Please wait for written confirmation before making the trip. Contact details are used to coordinate your visit, not to sign you up for marketing.

Professional stylists can request a pull for a production or client. We also review limited personal rentals for special occasions. Share your dates, sizes and the pieces you have in mind; we’ll confirm what is available and the terms before anything is reserved.
