Description

A purple plaid Pendleton skirt suit with the ease of separates and the presence of a complete look. The button-front jacket has a pointed collar, long sleeves and patch pockets cut on the diagonal; the matching pleated midi skirt gives the check pattern movement.

Wear the two pieces together with simple pumps, or split them up: the jacket over a tee and trousers, the skirt with a fine knit. This is the vintage two-piece set shown on our model; shoes and other styling pieces are not included.

I love this boutique! It's clear the owner Melynda has thoughtfully hand-picked and carefully curated an amazing collection of designer vintage and secondhand pieces. She has a fantastic selection of designer shoes and purses, and everything is in A+ condition or is like new! Melynda herself is super personable and always happy to help you find befitting pieces. There's also a superb selection of men's clothes and she has her own original designs for sale as well! So far I've bought two pairs of velvet gloves from her in-house label and I LOVE them! I get tons of compliments whenever I wear them. The designs are so unique, and the quality and construction are top notch. She's even making me a custom pair of pants using the same fabric as the gloves so I can have a matching set to wear to the Dreamstate Festival later this year! 5 stars for what they are doing for the community but not for my personal experience. They were listed on the wildfire Google sheet / website as one of the few places still accepting donations, so I brought all my unworn clothes over. The address on the website and online is not the correct one, so had to get back in my car and find new parking closer to the new location. Then I get inside and they said donations are by appointment only. 30 minute drive and a lot of parking hassle with nothing to show for it. My friends and I had a very pleasant and wonderful visit at Quirk. I got these beautiful snake skin shoes with a vintage neck scarf which i also fall in love with. I got compliments from people every time i wear them.  I wanted to buy everything when I was there. There are jewelry, scarfs , shoes, dresses and the HATS. The price is very affordable so I was a happy shopper.

The next best thing ( or the best ) about Quirk is the shop owner, Melynda. She is friendly and extremely helpful in helping you putting your dream outfits together and giving you advices when you needed them. She makes my shopping experience fun and comfortable.

I stopped by this Boutique once before by mistake it's just down the street from artisan house I came by they have a nice selection of men and women's clothing it's a mixture of modern and vintage pieces oh and I found many highend labels. This is such a fabulous find! A true gem tucked away in DTLA!! I went looking for vintage men’s items to match a watch I was gifted, and Melynda helped me pick out the most beautiful suit. She’s amazing too - she has the most fun and quirky style, but also donates clothes to victims of the wildfires. She gave me a tour of “The People’s Free Boutique” and it’s laid out to make those who have lost everything feel like they are really shopping for high-end items rather than getting things for free. My experience with Quirk was online. I was in some need of something white to wear that catches the eye, and found something that suited my taste in a few minutes. I had a fun time browsing the site, looking at the selection that was offered, it was fun to see so many bright colors, which is why it was a pleasent surprise for me to find something I felt more comfortable with. I made my purchase online after seeing how the sizes were measured (which was more detailed than most other sites), and felt confident making my choice. After about 10 days it arrived, and it was exactly how I saw it on the site.
