Hathaway’s shirtmaking business developed in Waterville, Maine, during the nineteenth century. Its shirts became widely recognized through David Ogilvy’s eyepatch advertising campaign, first published in 1951. Quirk’s OtherWear shirt jacket represents a more casual side of the Hathaway name.
