Stan Tendler founded Kennington in Los Angeles in 1957. The label developed a reputation for men’s shirts combining familiar sportswear shapes with distinctive prints, collars and color. Its California identity also runs through knitwear and other casual pieces, including the letterman cardigan in Quirk’s collection.
