Description
The VERYRARE Beach Race jacquard crewneck sweater turns a seaside scene into a full-front composition. Two running figures stretch across the blue sky and sandy pink ground, with their raised arms and flowing white drapery giving the knit a sense of movement. Taupe ribbing at the cuffs and hem frames the scene without competing with it.
Artwork & design
Raf Reyes brings VERYRARE’s collage-minded approach to the familiar crewneck silhouette. The figures reference Pablo Picasso’s Two Women Running on the Beach (The Race), a 1922 work held by the Musée national Picasso-Paris. Here, the image becomes part of a wearable composition, with small VERYRARE marks worked into the blue field. The artwork reference and the sweater design are distinct: Picasso created the original scene; Reyes designed the garment.

How to wear it
For a daytime outfit, try ecru straight-leg jeans and taupe suede shoes to pick up the pale ground and ribbing. Keep a jacket open so the two figures remain visible. For an evening gallery visit or dinner, switch to chocolate trousers and a dark brown leather loafer; the warmer neutrals sit easily beside the pink and blue artwork. A plain bag keeps the front composition in focus.
Fabric & care
Garment-label composition and care instructions still need confirmation. Please ask Quirk for those details before ordering if they affect your choice. The sweater is sold on its own; the trousers, shoes and bag in the photographs are styling references.
