Description

A sharply composed pair of vintage A Line Anne Klein mules in saturated orange with a softly napped, suede-textured surface.

Two wide straps cross the foot on opposing diagonals, creating a sculptural opening through the center. The squared open toe gives the pair a clean architectural line, while the substantial black heel adds contrast and visual weight.

The design is simple in the best way. There is no hardware, overt branding, or decorative excess. The color, asymmetrical cut, and strong block heel do all the work.

White insoles carry the A Line Anne Klein name, while the outsoles are clearly marked Made in Italy, 7½, and M. The slip-on construction keeps the pair easy, but the bold orange and black combination gives them considerably more presence than an ordinary mule.

Wear them with a black column dress, cropped trousers, dark indigo denim, a bias-cut skirt, or a tonal look in rust and cream. They also work beautifully against chocolate brown, olive, violet, cobalt, or a print that picks up the orange.

The orange uppers retain strong, even color and a soft napped texture, with light surface variation and gentle wear consistent with age. The white insoles show visible creasing, fine age lines, light marks, and wear around the strap openings, while the black outsoles show scratching and abrasion concentrated at the forefeet.

The block heels remain visually straight, and both heel tips are present. No major tears, broken stitching, severe discoloration, or obvious sole separation are visible in the supplied photographs.
