The Mazino Strata sneakers build a colourful silhouette around a bright white base. Red panels frame the lacing and heel, green sections sit at the toe and collar, and blue accents connect the upper to the sole. Pale overlays and warm tan-coloured loops add another layer to the design, giving each angle a different arrangement of colour.
White laces run down the front beneath a black-and-white patterned cord that crosses the forefoot and continues around the sides. The cord passes through small blue fittings, drawing a line across the overlapping panels. A rounded toe and substantial white sole give the shoe a broad, sculpted profile, with blue visible along the lower edge.
The Mazino name appears on the tan-coloured tongue patch. A white pull loop rises at the back, above red heel sections and a horizontal tan-coloured band. From the rear, the pale centre and blue sole edge create a lighter finish beneath the stronger colours.
Strata White/Multi was supplied by Island Footwear through Faire. Its colourblocking is built into the arrangement of the panels and cords, with the white overlays linking red, green and blue rather than leaving the brighter colours as isolated details. The layered construction has a graphic, deliberately busy appearance.
Try them with ecru straight-leg denim and a plain white T-shirt, then add a green overshirt to pick up the toe and collar panels. The pale denim continues the white base, while one repeated colour gives the outfit a clear connection to the shoes.
For a darker combination, use indigo denim and a simple red knit. Keep the rest of the outfit quiet so the crossing cord and blue sole accents remain visible. A short trouser break or a neat turn-up leaves the layered front in view.
