Description

A luminous 1940s/50s headband-style cocktail hat with bronze-toned crushed velvet, allover sequins, and an open netted center. The shape frames the head rather than covering it fully, with curved side panels and a structured band that creates a small but high-impact silhouette.

The sequins have a warm copper-brown glow that shifts softly in the light, making this an easy piece to style with black, ivory, chocolate, rust, gold, or champagne tones. It feels festive without being overly sweet: perfect for eveningwear, vintage events, holiday dressing, editorial styling, or a costume design look that needs a real period accessory.

No maker’s label is present. Era, material, and size are based on stylists notes, visible construction, sequin work, netted center, and 1940s/50s half-hat styling.

Favorite place to shop. Melynda always has the best treasures and she does custom designs. I bought a vintage dress from her to wear to a Gucci event, and I got soooo many compliments! Go now. This is definitely a must shop place in DTLA .

Love this store & Melinda beyond BEYOND She is so helpful and creative. Her fashion sense and charm will bring about the perfect outfit for any occasion. I went in 6 months pregnant, hot and in need of some fun looks to brighten up my life. Though at first I was hesitant to even step in the dressing room, within minutes of chatting I was up for trying on a slew of marvelous new styles! I even got the perfect shoes

I have joyfully followed Melynda and Quirk grow over the past year. Every time I get a little extra money I pop in to get a nice something-or-another for myself and leave with much more; life stories, fashion advice, and sometimes coffee. Each time I leave Quirk I look and feel a little smarter. Keep up the excellent work. -DC

I volunteered at Quirk all afternoon today, and there is so much love and support alive in that space. They are overwhelmed with so many incredible donations and every single thing is being sorted and placed directly into the free shop where fire victims can come shop and get what they need. All items are the same quality you would find in a thrift store like Buffalo Exchange. There were volunteers helping people find clothing items that fit and served their needs while they’re grappling with the loss of their homes and belongings. There are so many ways fire victims need support and this is one of them! Thank you Quirk and the other amazing organization and businesses stepping up to help our community!

Looking for unique style with a personal touch? Look no further than Quirk. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a VIP. The owner, Melynda, is not just a salesperson; she's a magician with fashion. She effortlessly picked out pieces that perfectly suited my taste and body type, creating looks I never imagined possible. The selection of vintage clothing is unparalleled, each piece telling its own story. Whether you're a seasoned vintage lover or a newbie, [Owner's Name] will elevate your wardrobe to new heights. Thank you for the fabulous experience!

My experience with Quirk was online. I was in some need of something white to wear that catches the eye, and found something that suited my taste in a few minutes. I had a fun time browsing the site, looking at the selection that was offered, it was fun to see so many bright colors, which is why it was a pleasent surprise for me to find something I felt more comfortable with. I made my purchase online after seeing how the sizes were measured (which was more detailed than most other sites), and felt confident making my choice. After about 10 days it arrived, and it was exactly how I saw it on the site. I really liked the lenght and the feel of it, and it fit me great, I would recommend Quirk for anyone who wants to step up their outfit game.

I had the pleasure of stumbling upon Quirk fairly recently and I am most certainly delighted I found this little gem! Located on a busy downtown street, its colorful, unique vintage items are arranged and merchandised well! For a small space, a diverse range of eclectic items will most certainly entice you! Trust me, ya won't leave without buying a little keeper! I love the Seven 4 all Mankind Tight pencil skirt I found and I have some items on hold I can't wait to get! The Owner/Stylist, Melynda is an absolute doll, and a pleasure to chat with as you browse the items, If you are a vintage fanatic or Fashionista, check this place out! Tiny but lots of little treasures that are reasonably priced!
