Sunshine yellow gives this 1960s Martini polo an immediate lift, while cotton terry and fine vertical texture supply the detail. A pointed collar, short front opening, chest patch pocket and short raglan sleeves make a familiar shape feel distinctly its own. It is a pristine deadstock find, preserved in mint/new condition with the original tags. The established modern fit is US Small, shown on Alex with graphic shorts. Description

Sunshine yellow and tactile cotton terry give this 1960s Martini polo its easygoing character. Fine vertical texture runs through the fabric, while the pointed collar, short front opening and chest patch pocket keep the shape crisp. The short sleeves and raglan seams make the construction part of the design, with enough detail to hold its own beside a pair of plain trousers.

Brand: Martini

A particularly well-preserved deadstock find, this shirt retains its original tags. Its appeal is in that combination of a familiar polo silhouette and a fabric with more personality than a flat jersey: the terry surface catches the light and gives the yellow real depth.

Modern size: US Small.

About the model: Alex is 5ft 10in and typically wears a men’s jacket size 38R/40R and pants size 30/31. His usual shirt size is a modern USA Small or Medium.

Pristine vintage condition, mint/new. Deadstock with the original tags. This piece is sold as-is due to its age and rarity.

This store is about as good as it gets when it comes to second-hand, quality, and well known products. I can't speak as much on the women's section, but the men's had a very wide range of styles and brands. From amazing Ralph Lauren denim to classy vintage coats this place has the works. Not only is it a gem for its wares, but the owner of the place is just wonderful. She is nice and will help you find exactly what you're looking for, and maybe even something you didn't even know you needed. My pickups from my first time included a navy Air Force Peacoat, a cashmere v-neck sweater and a pair of that amazing Ralph Lauren denim that I mentioned. Quirk is WONDERFUL! Small but mighty, always new and exciting finds, plus the real deal when it comes to fashion and expression. Owned by a stylist/awesome fashionista, with a passion and drive that offers the best experience in vintage shopping. I got the most gorgeous silk blouse...and some shoes that fit me like Cinderella! 

If you live in Los Angeles, you know how hard it is to find awesome vintage at a reasonable price. From the fight over Dior at a thrift store, to the snobby and over priced 'bo-ho' Buffalo Exchange, to the trendy and overly pretentious places on Melrose-it's just another face in the crowd, on the scene.

Quirk is the kind of place you walk into and immediately feel like you've inherited the wardrobe of a rich, eccentric aunt who traveled the world and kept all the best pieces. Every rack feels intentional, lived in, and full of personality. Nothing feels random. Each item has a story, and you can sense it the moment you start browsing.

The bag selection alone is worth the stop. There are so many standout pieces that feel like true finds, not just resale. The kind of bags you don't see twice.

What really makes this place special is the owner, Melynda. She's genuinely fun to talk to and clearly passionate about what she curates. You can tell there's pride and care behind every piece in the shop. Talking with her about vintage fashion and the stories behind the items made the experience feel personal, not transactional.

This is such a fabulous find! A true gem tucked away in DTLA!! I went looking for vintage men’s items to match a watch I was gifted, and Melynda helped me pick out the most beautiful suit. She’s amazing too - she has the most fun and quirky style, but also donates clothes to victims of the wildfires. She gave me a tour of “The People’s Free Boutique” and it’s laid out to make those who have lost everything feel like they are really shopping for high-end items rather than getting things for free.
