The high waist, pintuck-pleated front and removable belt give the flowing shape definition; the lacquered floral buckle is a detail worth showing. Lightweight micro polyester and nylon form the semi-sheer outer layer, balanced by a full lining. In Pristine vintage condition, the skirt fits modern US 4/6 with an approximately 28-inch waist and somewhat free hips. Try a tucked-in blouse, or a tee and sandals.

Flowers run in ribbons across this 1970s maxi skirt, from small scattered blooms to larger roses around the hem. Pink, violet, red and green stand out against the dark ground, giving the long silhouette depth as the fabric moves. The matching removable belt gathers the print at the waist, finished with a black lacquered buckle decorated with raised flowers and gold-tone branches.
A high waist and pintuck-pleated front give the skirt its shape without weighing down the lightweight, semi-sheer outer fabric. The outer fabric is micro polyester and nylon. A full black lining provides coverage beneath the floral layer, while a zip closure secures the waist. The result has the sweep of a dress with the styling possibilities of separates.
