Description

A graphic early-2010s reinterpretation of Coach’s classic Willis silhouette.

This Coach Legacy Archival Willis pairs a chalk-white leather body with deep marine-purple piping, reinforced corners, side panels, handle accents, and coordinating tassels. Silver-tone hardware sharpens the contrast, including Coach’s signature oval turnlock at the center of the broad front flap.

The structured, layered construction gives the bag the presence of a compact briefcase while remaining polished enough for everyday use. Carry it from the short top handle for a clean satchel silhouette, or attach the adjustable strap for shoulder or crossbody wear.

The front includes a generously proportioned slip-pocket panel beneath the flap, while a full-width slip pocket spans the back. Coach Legacy hangtags and tassels bring additional movement and texture to the otherwise crisp geometry.

The white leather shows visible evidence of previous use, including light gray marks, small surface spots, rubbing, and tonal variation. The bag still presents with strong structure, a striking color combination, and its important visible accessories intact.

Style it with dark denim, black tailoring, camel outerwear, oxblood leather, or a navy knit. The chalk and marine palette also works especially well with silver jewelry and cooler gray tones.

Scale Notes

Shown with Jayden, the bag reads as a medium structured satchel rather than an oversized work bag. It offers enough capacity for a wallet, phone, small notebook, compact tablet, keys, and similar daily essentials while remaining proportioned for comfortable crossbody wear.

Condition

Good pre-owned condition.

The bag retains its structured shape, strong chalk-and-marine color contrast, signature turnlock, top handle, long strap, tassels, and Coach Legacy hangtags.

Visible wear includes scattered light gray marks and surface soiling across the chalk-white leather, small spots on the front panels, light rubbing around the edges and piping, minor creasing, handling wear to the strap, and gentle surface wear to the silver-tone hardware. Additional small marks and tonal variation are visible on the back panel.

No major exterior tears, extensive cracking, missing trim, or visibly broken hardware appear in the supplied photographs. The white leather makes ordinary wear more noticeable, and the condition is reflected in the price.

Styling Notes

Carry it from the short top handle with wide-leg denim, a cropped jacket, or a tailored suit. Attach the longer strap for shoulder or crossbody wear with a trench coat, knit dress, or relaxed menswear-inspired look.

The white and marine combination works especially well with black, charcoal, camel, navy, oxblood, silver, and dark indigo.

The patterned jacket shown in the styled photographs is separate inventory and is not included with the bag.

Curation Note

Each Quirk piece is hand selected by our team for quality, construction, styling potential, and point of view.

I finally walked in after walking by for years when I heard they were in need for volunteers for their donation drive. I'm ashamed I haven't found this store before. The owner is fantastic, she hopped out of a hospital bed and straight to setting up this push to help people. The store, as it's known, on the fourth floor feels like you are thriving with some of the most upbeat staff to aid you find everything you need for woman's clothing, toiletries, and undergarments. On the second is where you can find an almost equal amount of men's, rare to have this ratio in any department store. Kids all the way down to infants, with diapers, and toys. Here you can see volunteers going from room to room sorting through, sizing, and cleaning up donations to stock both floors. Snacks, water, non-perishable food, and a welcome environment has made this a far distinction from digging through a pile of T-shirts on a folding table. My time volunteering here has been exhausting in the best way, the tiredness that comes with knowing you've done good, that your work and presence are valued. I'll continue to be here everyday I can until Melynda gets tired of me saying, "Happy ___day!" We're still here!

An absolute gem of a boutique, with a constant stream of unique vintage pieces! I was able to get the perfect dress, pumps, handbag, and hat for a formal tea at very short notice. The store is easy to access in the second floor of a fashion design building. The owner is a talented costume designer with a wealth of experience from film and more. Whether you go in with a decade-specific goal in mind, or are just looking for a special treasure, you will surely find something magical!!!

What a gem of a place! Everything I took home fit. The clothes were fabulous but Trent was so cool and cute, Carmen was so very helpful going out if her way for me and Allison helped my cousin hand pick his new wardrobe and not to mention she was gorgeous to boot! Thank you Quirk, Thanks for going above and beyond and for restoring my faith in humanity! Margo and Raul

I had a really good experience at Quirk. Its located in DTLA which is known to give you headaches with parking. Luckily there were several fairly priced garage options on the same block. The shop is located on the second floor of this cool, early 20th century style building. I love vintage buildings so I was hyped before I even stepped into Quirk. But once inside I was really digging the vibes. They have a really selection of vintage, modern clothes for women and men. With assistance of the curator, Melynda, I was able to grab a few items for an upcoming headshot session. I didn't have to break the bank as the items I purchased were from a $20 rack. I will def go again. I highly recommend checking it out.

Great vintage shop in Downtown! With all the new vintage stores popping up around LA these days, Quirk really stands out with having unique, high quality items that are personally curated by the owner, Melynda, who is also a professional stylist and costume designer. Most vintage shops these days are just filled with XXL 80s/90s shirts, and overpriced jeans. Quirk has one-of-a-kind items that have made me a return customer. Most recent purchases were a 1970s YSL handbag and kimono jacket that always get me compliments when I wear them out.

This is such a fabulous find! A true gem tucked away in DTLA!! I went looking for vintage men’s items to match a watch I was gifted, and Melynda helped me pick out the most beautiful suit. She’s amazing too - she has the most fun and quirky style, but also donates clothes to victims of the wildfires. She gave me a tour of “The People’s Free Boutique” and it’s laid out to make those who have lost everything feel like they are really shopping for high-end items rather than getting things for free. I will be back to support Quirk Vintage again!!
