A market still life, tied in silk. The Spanish Peppers silk bandana features a Mexico City market photograph by Quirk founder/designer Melynda: green, red and yellow bell peppers, piled high and caught close up. The glossy silk satin catches the light, while the densely layered peppers make the color feel almost three-dimensional.
At approximately 18 inches square, this is a compact kerchief. Fold it diagonally and knot it at the neck, tie it around a ponytail or loop it through a bag handle. The photographic print gives a plain shirt, knit or jacket a concentrated hit of color.
This listing is for the silk satin version in the size shown above. Check the dimensions against a scarf you already wear; a small square gives a different knot and coverage from a full-size headscarf. Minor variation can occur through hemming and finishing.
Wash at 30°C / 86°F and iron on low heat. Handle the silk gently and follow the care label supplied with your piece.
