Description

Pink leather and sharp little studs make an appealingly contrary pair. This pre-owned Valentino Rockstud wallet has a flap front edged with gold-tone pyramid studs, a snap fastening and a zipped pocket on the back. The long rectangular shape gives the row of studs room to stand out against the pale pink.

Valentino connects the Rockstud motif to Roman architecture. On this wallet, the repeated geometric points give a simple everyday accessory a more assertive outline. It is the contrast between the soft color and the angular hardware that makes it interesting, rather than an all-over logo.

Styling

Let it be the bright detail inside a dark tote, or pair it with a crisp shirt, denim and loafers. The gold-tone studs work nicely with warm metal jewelry, though a perfectly matched set is hardly necessary. Pink can be a useful companion to olive, burgundy or chocolate brown if you would rather avoid a head-to-toe pastel look.

Condition

The pink surface shows marks and discoloration, with wear at the edges. Please review the close photographs and email us for current condition details or dimensions before ordering. We can help you check whether the wallet will suit the bag you use most.

Details

A removable card insert in matching pink is shown separately in the gallery. Please contact us to confirm the included pieces before purchasing.

I worked with Melynda on a professional photoshoot for my company and ever since then I have been going to her store. Such a great way to change up my style and find new unique items. I am a proud owner of a vintage Italian suit and have even rented a gown for a special event. Always looking for her insight when shopping there.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would for the People's Free Boutique by Quirk. I was looking for a place to donate for all of those affected by the LA fires. That's when I found Melynda and Quirk. What Melynda has done is not only absolute genius, but shows what an enormous heart this woman has, her incredible kindness and fantastic talent! I was in the entertainment business for 17 years, with the majority of that time working in the costume department. I was extremely grateful for having a good career but had to leave to take care of my special needs son. I've worked as a private stylist whenever the time permitted but that was becoming less and less. When the fires happened I wanted desperately to do something, get involved, help. By doing something I really knew how to do. I considered trying to put together some kind of free store but absolutely knew I would not be able to devote the time needed. When I found out what Melynda was doing I was absolutely thrilled! Contacted her immediately and told her I had a garage full of beautiful things that I wanted to donate. We immediately exchanged numbers, with Melynda giving me her private cell immediately. With the help of my husband we got to work! When we got to the first location there were a fantastic group of folks loading box after box into a U-Haul. They were loading in from the donations that had been delivered or shipped to Quirk to move to their next location which was much larger. Our first trip we were delivering rolling racks, clothing, and boxes of supplies. That's when I met Melynda! We gave each other a big hug like we'd been friends our whole lives. I told her I was so incredibly grateful for what she was doing! She just smiled and said she wanted to do her best to help. She didn't hesitate to start helping load boxes and managing to do it all while being fashionably dressed!!! Impressive in itself!! When I went around the corner on the 2nd floor towards her shop the amount of rolling racks, racks of shoes, racks of every kind of supplies lined up all the way down the hall on both sides. There were boxes and boxes, bags and bags. Melynda was at this point back near her shop. A young woman, of normal size was trying on different outfits that had been put together for her. Not only did everything fit, it was stylish and fun and with each outfit you could tell whatever this lovely woman had been through for a brief moment all that seemed gone and she was shopping and enjoying herself. As well as getting advice from someone who knew her fashion! Finding new and flattering outfits she might not have put together on her own. She seemed so completely happy and it was something that really has stayed with me to this day. Melynda's shop was full of great clothes for women that had been donated and the shop across the hall was filled with men's. Everything was on hangers, had been sorted by size and quality checked, I know because I immediately started helping! I actually was sent to the next floor, where I saw again the massive amount of donations!!! It was so well organized. This floor was where everything was being sorted and sized, it was just amazing! After the years of experience of going through costume houses, loading and transporting rolling racks full of clothing, setting up wardrobe trailers, it was absolutely obvious to me how much work was required to get all of this done! When I was sorting, I came across a beautiful vintage piece and put it aside. Later I showed it to Melynda, thinking she might actually want it for her store. She immediately recognized the vintage designer, knew it was valuable and said it would make someone truly happy. Not thinking twice about keeping it! And that's how I was immediately in 100 percent! The following Sunday we were delivering another load but now to the new space. It was huge! Very well organized, and buzzing! Families with smiles on their faces leaving with bags of clothing! Full of thanks. And a children's area had been created with clothing, toys, books, diapers, formula, even items for special needs kids!! I know this is a long review but honestly, I could go on!!! Melynda has put her own shop on hold for months so that she can focus on this nonprofit. She is in the midst of trying to get the space longer so more people can benefit. Melynda is one of a kind, truly. I am so grateful for someone like her and a huge shoutout to all of the volunteers who are helping to make this happen!!! If you are a victim of the fires, this place is a treasure! Please support Melynda in anyway you can! Donate! Volunteer! Stop by her vintage shop! Let her help bring out the happiness in you that something as simple as an outfit, a sharp eye for fashion, and a smile can only do!!!! All my very best to Melynda and hopefully I can continue being a small part of this amazing project!!!!

I appreciate what Quirk is doing and helping restoring the lives of those affected by the fires!!! It's always a humbling experience to give back to the community and receive services. Melinda (even tho' I'm so spelling her name wrong lol sorry) is always a cup of joy and so supportive. You are such a gem along with your team. I look forward to watching the free peoples boutique grow along with quirk. Thank you once again and words can never describe what an impact you have shown towards myself, family, friends and community.

Quirk is the kind of place you walk into and immediately feel like you’ve inherited the wardrobe of a rich, eccentric aunt who traveled the world and kept all the best pieces. Every rack feels intentional, lived in, and full of personality. Nothing feels random. Each item has a story, and you can sense it the moment you start browsing. The bag selection alone is worth the stop. There are so many standout pieces that feel like true finds, not just resale. The kind of bags you don’t see twice. What really makes this place special is the owner, Melynda. She’s genuinely fun to talk to and clearly passionate about what she curates. You can tell there’s pride and care behind every piece in the shop. Talking with her about vintage fashion and the stories behind the items made the experience feel personal, not transactional. This ended up being one of the coolest spots I stumbled into in the fashion district. If you appreciate vintage that feels curated and soulful rather than picked over, Quirk is a must.

My friends and I had a very pleasant and wonderful visit at Quirk. I got these beautiful snake skin shoes with a vintage neck scarf which i also fall in love with. I got compliments from people every time i wear them. I wanted to buy everything when I was there. There are jewelry, scarfs , shoes, dresses and the HATS. The price is very affordable so I was a happy shopper. The next best thing ( or the best ) about Quirk is the shop owner, Melynda. She is friendly and extremely helpful in helping you putting your dream outfits together and giving you advices when you needed them. She makes my shopping experience fun and comfortable. The shop is beautiful. I love the warmth and the openness of the shop. It stands out in the middle of the busy downtown LA streets. I will definitely come back and visit again when I come back to LA.

Update Today I visited The People's Free Boutique for the second time. I brought my Father with me to shop. Melynda, her fellow co founders and volunteer staff have been a resource from early January 2025. This shows their commitment, dedication, and drive to help others. The showroom is well organized and staffed. Clothes are organized and sorted by size. There is even a section for house hold items. Additionally shopping is done by appointment so the showroom is not crowded and ones does not feel rushed to get through. The two dressing rooms enhance the experience and enable folks to try items on and take those clothes they truly want. Melynda's has a background in the TV and Film Industry. Chatting with her I reminded of the saying "the show must go on" No matter what obstacle or log jam the People's Free Boutique - the staff find a way to make things happen. Los Angeles needs more people like Meylnda and her staff. The Staff at The People’s Free Boutique is amazing. These folks make the space come alive and fill it with positive energy and a high level of support. The clothes are well organized by sizes and styles. Learning about the journey that the organizers took to make this boutique a reality was very inspiring to me. I learned that this idea became a reality on January 8th - one day after the fire. This shows the passion, planning, and drive of the staff. I brought home some much needed clothes and more importantly I left a better person with a renewed outlook on community and collaboration.

Service was excellent I was recommended with a well thought of outfit. Melynda a stylist and the owner was kind enough to take care of the details. The variety of curated designs are also exceptional from vintage 60's to early 2000's. The prices here is relatively reasonable given the fact that they provided guidance in styling that works for me.

I highly recommend supporting this local business. The owner Melynda has been so generous in helping out fire victims by creating a pop up free clothing boutique, and volunteering her time there. She definitely has a strong eye for fashion and a heart of gold, so I recommend stopping by and supporting her shop!
