Description
There is pristine vintage, and then there is vintage that has clearly gone places.
This Fendi Boston bag falls firmly into the second camp. The compact, structured silhouette is wrapped in the house’s recognizable vertical Pequin stripe, alternating black and taupe tones with black trim, rolled top handles, a zip-top closure, metal hardware, and a circular Fendi Roma Italy 1925 medallion at the front.
The shape sits somewhere between a classic Boston satchel and a small doctor bag, giving it enough structure to feel polished without reading overly formal. The narrow stripe and restrained palette make it remarkably easy to style, especially against tailoring, denim, workwear, or more graphic vintage pieces.
This example has developed pronounced patina over time. The exterior shows substantial abrasion, darkening, fading, surface loss, scuffing, and general wear, particularly across the lower body, edges, corners, and other high-contact areas. We have photographed that wear rather than disguising it.
It is not a pristine collector example, and it is not priced like one. What it offers instead is recognizable Fendi design, a strong late-20th-century silhouette, and the kind of lived-in finish that makes vintage feel genuinely individual.

Condition
Fair Vintage Condition.
This bag shows significant cosmetic wear consistent with substantial previous use and age.
Visible condition includes widespread abrasion and surface wear across the striped exterior, darkening and discoloration, fading and areas of finish loss, scuffing along the lower body and side panels, pronounced corner and edge wear, and general surface irregularity throughout.
The black handles and trim also show visible age, including scuffing, creasing, finish wear, and wear around the handle attachment points. The visible metal hardware shows scratches and age-related surface wear.
Despite the cosmetic wear, the bag retains its recognizable structured Boston silhouette in the supplied photographs, and the handles and visible attachment points remain present.
This is intentionally being offered as a well-worn vintage designer piece rather than a pristine collector bag. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.
Styling Notes
Treat the patina as part of the styling.
This works beautifully with an oversized white shirt and wide trousers, a black suit, vintage denim and a fitted knit, a worn leather jacket, or a long minimal coat. The Pequin stripe is quiet enough to mix with checks, abstract prints, and other small-scale patterns without becoming chaotic.
For a more contemporary unisex approach, carry it almost like a compact briefcase with oversized tailoring, loafers, denim, or pared-back workwear.
