I worked with Melynda on a professional photoshoot for my company and ever since then I have been going to her store. Such a great way to change up my style and find new unique items. I appreciate what Quirk is doing and helping restoring the lives of those affected by the fires!!! It's always a humbling experience to give back to the community and receive services. Melinda (even tho' I'm so spelling her name wrong lol sorry) is always a cup of joy and so supportive. You are such a gem along with your team. I have joyfully followed Melynda and Quirk grow over the past year. Every time I get a little extra money I pop in to get a nice something-or-another for myself and leave with much more; life stories, fashion advice, and sometimes coffee. Quirk is a great place to rent or buy unique clothing. Melynda has curated such a great variety of items. I rented a gorgeous gown for a work event and bought multiple things including a vintage Italian suit that I get complimented on all the time. It was my 2nd or 3rd time browsing the site, and my first time purchasing from it. I was familiar with the site and brand (was recommended by a close friend of mine who has good taste), and decided to check it out. I liked the layout of the site, made it pretty easy to look for what I like, and found what I wanted in like 4 minutes after browsing. Paying was straightforward, I received the package in about 10 days (flat fee for shipping), and it fit pretty well. I volunteered at The People's Free Boutique while it was still in its temporary space, and I am better for it. It is a wonderful resource, Melynda has been so organized, compassionate, and all around an amazing leader for this huge effort to assist those impacted by the Eaton and Palisades fires. Through some folks' worst days, Melynda and the Quirk team were there. It's amazing that Melynda has kept it up for as long as she has, and I hope the People's Free Boutique can stay open as long as there is a community need.

I had the pleasure of stumbling upon Quirk fairly recently and I am most certainly delighted I found this little gem! Located on a busy downtown street, its colorful, unique vintage items are arranged and merchandised well! For a small space, a diverse range of eclectic items will most certainly entice you! Trust me, ya won't leave without buying a little keeper! I love the Seven 4 all Mankind Tight pencil skirt I found and I have some items on hold I can't wait to get! The Owner/Stylist, Melynda is an absolute doll, and a pleasure to chat with as you browse the items, If you are a vintage fanatic or Fashionista, check this place out! I volunteered at Quirk all afternoon today, and there is so much love and support alive in that space. They are overwhelmed with so many incredible donations and every single thing is being sorted and placed directly into the free shop where fire victims can come shop and get what they need. All items are the same quality you would find in a thrift store like Buffalo Exchange. There were volunteers helping people find clothing items that fit and served their needs while they’re grappling with the loss of their homes and belongings. I had such a wonderful time at Quirk. As someone who has never been to a fashion district and who has never been styled before,  I hadn't extraordinary time getting to know my own sense of fashion. Melynda was so dope and helpful. She helped style me and gave me a new fresh look. I ended up buying something off of the $20 rack so she has affordable options as well. Definitely coming back again for my next shopping trip!
