A beautifully directional pair of vintage Jean-Claude Jitrois pumps in deep black suede.
The silhouette is streamlined and architectural, with a low-cut vamp, tapered soft-square toe, and high sculpted heel. Rather than relying on bows, buckles, or conventional ornament, each shoe is detailed with a vertical row of three round gold-tone buttons stamped Jitrois Paris.
Set against the matte suede, the buttons bring a tailored, almost military precision to the front of the shoes. Their warm finish is echoed inside by luminous metallic-gold leather linings and full Jean-Claude Jitrois Paris labels.
The heels are wrapped in matching black suede, creating a continuous profile from the heel counter through the base. The leather outsoles are marked Made in Italy, European size 36, and with a genuine-leather stamp.
Wear them beneath sharp black tailoring, a fitted knit dress, cigarette trousers, dark denim, or a narrow leather skirt. They are restrained enough to function as a black pump, but distinctive enough to transform the entire look.

The shoes taper through the forefoot and may feel closer than a rounded contemporary pump. Some of the visible toe length extends beyond the natural toe line and should not be interpreted as entirely usable interior space.
For the strongest fit comparison, check the interior footbed length and widest outsole measurement against a similarly shaped pump already in your wardrobe.
Condition
Good Vintage Condition.
The black suede uppers retain their sculpted shape and rich overall color. Visible wear includes nap variation, gentle creasing, surface rubbing, light dusting, and small marks consistent with age and previous use.
All six gold-tone Jitrois Paris buttons remain present. The hardware shows scratching, darkening, and finish variation, particularly within the recessed lettering and button centers.
The metallic-gold interiors remain striking and clearly branded, with creasing, rubbing, darkening, and areas of finish wear. Fraying and loose fibers are visible around portions of the heel collars, particularly near the back openings.
The matching suede-wrapped heels show light rubbing and nap variation. The leather outsoles display substantial forefoot abrasion and darkening. Both heel tips remain present and show previous use.
No major tears through the suede, missing buttons, broken heel structures, or obvious sole separation are visible in the supplied photographs. Please review all images closely, particularly the suede nap, collar edges, buttons, metallic interiors, leather soles, wrapped heels, and heel tips.
Styling Notes
Pair these with black tuxedo trousers, a sculpted mini dress, cigarette pants, dark denim, or a narrow leather skirt. The gold detailing also works beautifully with antique jewelry, bronze hardware, deep olive, oxblood, and saturated jewel tones.
