A piece of vintage Louis Vuitton that gets more interesting once it has actually lived a little.
The Compiegne 28 pairs the house’s signature Monogram coated canvas with natural leather piping and curved leather reinforcements at the lower corners. Its broad rectangular shape was designed around function, but the proportions make it especially good worn now as an oversized clutch, document pouch, travel organizer, or compact everyday carry.
The brown Monogram remains graphic and recognizable, while the natural leather has developed a warm honeyed patina with freckling, tonal variation, and visible signs of age. Rather than reading overly polished, the wear gives the piece the character people look for in older Louis Vuitton.
