One of the coolest places I’ve stumbled upon thus far. Unlike some other vintage stores where it feels like it’s full of marked-up Goodwill items, Melynda takes the time to research and select all the items she puts out in the store. When I stopped by, she even let me look through some items she hadn’t put out yet, and I found a really cool vintage Western button-up. The men’s section is not neglected either, full of some really cool shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, and other accessories. If you’re looking to find a unique piece in a friendly environment, this is the place for you.

This is such a fabulous find! A true gem tucked away in DTLA!! I went looking for vintage men’s items to match a watch I was gifted, and Melynda helped me pick out the most beautiful suit. She’s amazing too - she has the most fun and quirky style, but also donates clothes to victims of the wildfires. She gave me a tour of “The People’s Free Boutique” and it’s laid out to make those who have lost everything feel like they are really shopping for high-end items rather than getting things for free. I will be back to support Quirk Vintage again!!

Excellent customer service!!! We walked by coincidentally or by fate after we had given up on finding a costume for a 1900s theme party. We told Melynda (owner/stylist) our story and she quickly dived into finding us something fabulous to wear. My friend and I turned out to be the best dressed at the party. What I loved the most from shopping at Quirk was Melynda's passion for her work as a costumer designer and stylist. Her willingness to help us out is exactly what you expect from any service driven industry. Will definitely be back because the clothes is vintage and original and Melynda is awesome! My friend and I were exploring the fashion district and came across this place and it is a total gem! Some very interesting timeless pieces that were super fun too look through and such a friendly vibe. Shoutout to the lady working there, I believe it was Malinda, she was so friendly and I had such a good time talking with her! Went by on a Saturday with my daughter. Melynda was awesome and helpful, as always. We both found things we needed. What I appreciate about Melynda is the personal service and how she honestly cares about if something is "right" for you or not. She actually mended something I had just bought right on the spot (wouldn't let it leave with an almost loose button)! Appreciate her sense of style and will defiantly be headed back.

Great vintage shop in Downtown! With all the new vintage stores popping up around LA these days, Quirk really stands out with having unique, high quality items that are personally curated by the owner, Melynda, who is also a professional stylist and costume designer. Most vintage shops these days are just filled with XXL 80s/90s shirts, and overpriced jeans. Quirk has one-of-a-kind items that have made me a return customer. Most recent purchases were a 1970s YSL handbag and kimono jacket that always get me compliments when I wear them out.

The BEST vintage shop in LA!! The minute you walk in you are greeted by the owner and stylist, which is rare for a vintage shop, if you ask me! Melynda is absolutely wonderful and provides excellent customer service! Since she's a professional stylist she's extremely knowledgeable about fashion and helps you coordinate outfits together. She has a great assortment of women's and men's clothing, shoes and accessories. I try to visit the shop once every two weeks, you just can't beat the prices, it's cheaper than Wasteland! If you are looking for one of a kind vintage pieces from the 1960's to now, Quirk is your place to shop! They carry Theory, James Perse, APC, Prada, Burberry and many more! I highly recommend this vintage shop!!

I am such a shop-aholic at her store. I love her dresses and shoes. The owner always put a great story behind every outfit and whom she did her work. The owner, Melynda is AMAZING Stylist in the business. Her work is ABSOLUTELY amazing and her dog Prudence who comes into the store makes the vibe very loving and friendly. I pretty much spend my entire paycheck coming to this store. Very tempting and I always come out with the hottest looks at her store.

I was so happy to finally find a store in the heart of Dtla that sells true vintage clothing and accessories! It gets better- the owner, Melynda is a stylist/ costume designer who gave me style advice on a whim. Prices are reasonable and there’s even a $20 rack! Total hidden gem. Skip Zara.
