Description

A vintage statement shirt with the polish of late-night disco dressing and the graphic precision of early new-wave style.

The lightweight woven fabric has a smooth, satin-like finish that catches the light without becoming overly glossy. Its geometric print shifts in scale across the garment. Smaller checkerboard-filled shapes frame the shoulders and upper chest, while a larger interlocking lattice moves through the body and sleeves. The muted palette of dusty mauve, slate blue, charcoal, soft pink, cream, and black makes the pattern distinctive while remaining surprisingly easy to style.

The silhouette is relaxed, straight, and long through the body. A wide pointed collar gives the shirt its strongest vintage line, while tonal mauve buttons, full-length sleeves, and single-button cuffs keep the construction clean. There is no chest pocket interrupting the print, allowing the geometric pattern to remain the focus.

On Jayden, the shirt has comfortable room through the chest and torso, a hem that falls below the hips, and sleeves that extend beyond the wrists and gather above the cuffs. Wear it fully buttoned and tucked into high-rise tailoring, open over a fitted tank, or loose over a narrow trouser or skirt.

Pair it with washed denim or pale blue tailoring to bring forward the cooler colors. For a richer palette, style it with chocolate brown, oxblood, muted plum, charcoal, or black leather.

Fit Notes

Estimated to best fit a modern unisex M/L.

On Jayden, the shoulders sit close to the natural shoulder line with relaxed ease through the chest, waist, and upper arms. The body falls long and straight below the hips. The sleeves extend past the wrists and gather above the buttoned cuffs.

A smaller wearer can style the shirt as an intentionally oversized piece. A wearer at the upper end of the estimated range should expect a cleaner fit through the shoulders and chest while retaining fluidity through the torso.

Please compare the final garment measurements with a similar shirt that already fits well.

Condition

Very Good Vintage Condition.

The geometric print remains strong and visually even. The photographed collar, button placket, sleeves, cuffs, hem, and back appear intact, and the visible buttons are present.

Light creasing and subtle surface variation are visible, consistent with the fluid fabric and previous wear. No obvious large stains, holes, or open structural seams appear in the supplied photographs. Please review all images closely for the most accurate representation of condition.

Styling Notes

Wear it fully buttoned with high-rise trousers and a polished loafer for a sharp late-1970s silhouette. Leave the collar open and add faded denim for something more relaxed, or layer it beneath an oversized blazer while allowing the pointed collar and cuffs to show.

The dusty mauve and charcoal work particularly well with black, chocolate, burgundy, oxblood, silver, and deep plum. Pale blue, cream, and washed gray will lift the print without competing with it.

For evening, pair it with fluid black trousers and a narrow leather belt. For daytime, wear it loose over straight-leg denim or tucked into a pleated trouser.

Styling / Cross-Sell Note
