Description

A complete matching pair of 1960s Color-Mates luggage in an exuberant oversized floral print.

The woven exterior combines turquoise, green, blue, chartreuse, mustard, brown, and black in a densely layered botanical pattern. Green piping, zipper bands, handles, and edge trim frame the print and give both cases their softly structured rectangular shape.

Each case has a molded top handle, a curved exterior zip pocket, and a perimeter zipper closure. Original Color-Mates plaques sit beneath the handles, confirming that the pieces belong to the same coordinated luggage line.

The larger case is proportioned for overnight packing, substantial storage, or costume and styling supplies. The smaller companion case works well for toiletries, accessories, documents, technology, craft materials, or items that need to remain organized separately.

Condition

Good Vintage Condition.

Both cases retain their vivid matching floral textile, original Color-Mates plaques, molded handles, exterior zip pockets, perimeter closures, green piping, and softly structured shapes.

Visible age and wear include rubbing and darkening along the green trim, edge and corner wear, soft creasing, loose or projecting threads near portions of the pocket piping and seams, scattered marks within the textile, and tarnish or oxidation to the metal hardware. The handles show expected surface wear from use and storage.

No large exterior tears, severe structural collapse, missing handles, or major areas of textile loss are visible in the photographs. Please review all images closely, particularly the trim, corners, exterior pockets, zipper tracks, handles, feet, and hardware.
