A richly colored pair of vintage Martinez Valero pumps in deep red suede, traced with tonal twisted cord that loops and curls across the vamp and sides.
The raised trim gives the shoes the dimensional quality of embroidery while retaining a clean, monochromatic finish. Its loose scroll pattern feels almost hand-drawn against the suede, adding detail without interrupting the strong silhouette.

The surviving outsole sticker appears to indicate a period US size 8. Based on the tapered toe, high-cut vamp, vintage construction, and relatively narrow-looking body, the pair is estimated to best fit a modern women’s US 7.5/8.
These appear most promising for a narrow-to-average foot. Vintage footwear can differ from current sizing because of changes in last shape, interior volume, width, and toe construction. Comparing the interior footbed length with a similarly shaped pair already in your wardrobe is recommended.
Condition
Very good vintage condition.
The red suede uppers remain richly colored and present beautifully, with light nap variation, subtle darkening around the toes and edges, and gentle surface wear consistent with age. The tonal corded decoration appears substantially intact and secure in the photos.
The metallic-gold insoles show expected signs of use. The leather outsoles have visible darkening, abrasion, and wear from previous use, while the heel tips show edge wear. There is also light wear around the heel counters, rear seams, and toplines.
