Description

A graphic vintage Fendi portfolio clutch built around the house’s brown and black FF monogram. The structured rectangular body is finished with smooth dark-brown trim, curved corner reinforcements, a central leather strap, and a small gold-tone push clasp.

The generous flat shape makes it useful as an oversized clutch, document case, or styling portfolio. It carries comfortably against the body and has enough visual presence to anchor an otherwise restrained look.

The visible wear gives the bag a distinctly lived-in character rather than a polished collector-grade finish. Pair it with dark denim, a sharp trouser suit, an oversized coat, or a minimal column dress. It works particularly well as a masculine counterpoint to silk, satin, or sharply fitted tailoring.

Scale Notes

Shown with Jayden, the bag reads as a medium-to-large portfolio clutch rather than a small evening bag. It is proportioned to carry documents and everyday essentials while remaining flat enough to hold under the arm.

Exact measurements are not included in this listing.

Condition

Good vintage condition.

The monogram body remains visually strong and the structured portfolio shape is retained. The dark-brown trim shows pronounced age and use, including rubbing, scuffing, surface loss, edge wear, exposed lighter underlayers, and abrasion around the corners and piping. The gold-tone clasp shows visible surface wear.

These signs of wear are part of the bag’s appearance and are reflected in the price. Please review all photographs closely, particularly the corners, perimeter trim, clasp, and lower edges.

Styling Notes

Carry under the arm with wide-leg denim and a fitted shirt, or use it to break up a black trouser suit, long wool coat, minimal knit dress, or softly tailored evening look. The structured shape also works as a fashion-forward document case.

Curation Note

Each Quirk piece is hand selected by our team for quality, construction, styling potential, and point of view.

Authenticity Note

Quirk carefully reviews designer pieces before bringing them to market. Review may include labels, construction, materials, hardware, markings, provenance, and comparable documented examples. Any included third-party authentication paperwork will be noted explicitly.

I finally walked in after walking by for years when I heard they were in need for volunteers for their donation drive. I'm ashamed I haven't found this store before. The owner is fantastic, she hopped out of a hospital bed and straight to setting up this push to help people. The store, as it's known, on the fourth floor feels like you are thriving with some of the most upbeat staff to aid you find everything you need for woman's clothing, toiletries, and undergarments. On the second is where you can find an almost equal amount of men's, rare to have this ratio in any department store. Kids all the way down to infants, with diapers, and toys. Here you can see volunteers going from room to room sorting through, sizing, and cleaning up donations to stock both floors. Snacks, water, non-perishable food, and a welcome environment has made this a far distinction from digging through a pile of T-shirts on a folding table. My time volunteering here has been exhausting in the best way, the tiredness that comes with knowing you've done good, that your work and presence are valued. I'll continue to be here everyday I can until Melynda gets tired of me saying, "Happy ___day!" We're still here!

An absolute gem of a boutique, with a constant stream of unique vintage pieces! I was able to get the perfect dress, pumps, handbag, and hat for a formal tea at very short notice. The store is easy to access in the second floor of a fashion design building. The owner is a talented costume designer with a wealth of experience from film and more. Whether you go in with a decade-specific goal in mind, or are just looking for a special treasure, you will surely find something magical!!!

What a gem of a place! Everything I took home fit. The clothes were fabulous but Trent was so cool and cute, Carmen was so very helpful going out if her way for me and Allison helped my cousin hand pick his new wardrobe and not to mention she was gorgeous to boot! Thank you Quirk, Thanks for going above and beyond and for restoring my faith in humanity! Margo and Raul

I had a really good experience at Quirk. Its located in DTLA which is known to give you headaches with parking. Luckily there were several fairly priced garage options on the same block. The shop is located on the second floor of this cool, early 20th century style building. I love vintage buildings so I was hyped before I even stepped into Quirk. But once inside I was really digging the vibes. They have a really selection of vintage, modern clothes for women and men. With assistance of the curator, Melynda, I was able to grab a few items for an upcoming headshot session. I didn't have to break the bank as the items I purchased were from a $20 rack. I will def go again. I highly recommend checking it out.

Great vintage shop in Downtown! With all the new vintage stores popping up around LA these days, Quirk really stands out with having unique, high quality items that are personally curated by the owner, Melynda, who is also a professional stylist and costume designer. Most vintage shops these days are just filled with XXL 80s/90s shirts, and overpriced jeans. Quirk has one-of-a-kind items that have made me a return customer. Most recent purchases were a 1970s YSL handbag and kimono jacket that always get me compliments when I wear them out.

This is such a fabulous find! A true gem tucked away in DTLA!! I went looking for vintage men’s items to match a watch I was gifted, and Melynda helped me pick out the most beautiful suit. She’s amazing too - she has the most fun and quirky style, but also donates clothes to victims of the wildfires. She gave me a tour of “The People’s Free Boutique” and it’s laid out to make those who have lost everything feel like they are really shopping for high-end items rather than getting things for free. I will be back to support Quirk Vintage again!!
