Flânerie by MAIQ gives the heart hoop a little starlight. Desi combines a rounded, gold-tone heart shape with star settings and clear cubic zirconia, bringing small points of sparkle across the curved surface. The 18K gold plating sits over brass, with a hinged hoop fastening that keeps the shape compact. Wear the pair with an open white shirt and jeans, or bring the star motif into an evening look with a black knit and a high neckline. At approximately 0.9 by 0.8 inches, they give a simple outfit a distinct focal point. New retail stock.

Description

A rounded heart, scattered stars and a warm gold-tone surface give Flânerie by MAIQ’s Desi hoops their character. Clear cubic zirconia sits within star-shaped settings across the curved front, catching the light in small flashes. The heart outline stays open at the center, so the shape reads clearly from the side as well as the front.

The combination gives two familiar jewelry motifs a sculptural treatment. The broad curve carries the star detail, while the hinged fastening follows the top of the hoop. Desi is made with 18K gold plating over brass; the gold description refers to the plated finish.

Styling

For daytime, leave the collar of a crisp white shirt open and wear the earrings with straight-leg blue jeans. The rounded gold-tone shape provides enough detail to carry the look; a simple ring or narrow bracelet keeps the other jewelry quiet.

For evening, put the stars against a plain black knit or a high-neck dress. Tucking the hair behind the ears reveals the open heart and the fastening, while a soft updo gives the pair more space. They also work with a washed denim jacket and a red lip when the occasion calls for a little more character.

I finally walked in after walking by for years when I heard they were in need for volunteers for their donation drive. I'm ashamed I haven't found this store before.

The owner is fantastic, she hopped out of a hospital bed and straight to setting up this push to help people. The store, as it's known, on the fourth floor feels like you are thriving with some of the most upbeat staff to aid you find everything you need for woman's clothing, toiletries, and undergarments.

On the second is where you can find an almost equal amount of men's, rare to have this ratio in any department store. Kids all the way down to infants, with diapers, and toys. Here you can see volunteers going from room to room sorting through, sizing, and cleaning up donations to stock both floors.

Snacks, water, non-perishable food, and a welcome environment has made this a far distinction from digging through a pile of T-shirts on a folding table.

My time volunteering here has been exhausting in the best way, the tiredness that comes with knowing you've done good, that your work and presence are valued. I'll continue to be here everyday I can until Melynda gets tired of me saying, "Happy ___day!"

This humble little vintage shop, is a HIDDEN GEM in downtown Los Angeles. If ya "blink" ya jus might miss this sweet little treasure chest.. The owners prices R VERY AFFORDABLE. Did I jus say,"affordable?" I did NOT know that word still eXisted in fashion these daze, haha !! NO joke, she will sincerely work with ya on pricing. She's a doll, & she's knowledgeable about fashion. I UNeXpectedly  "popped-in" & I found the most amazing "rock-starr" coat eva !!  I wish this mini-vintage boutique much success.
