Puffed shoulders, an elongated jacket and sequin paneling make this 1980s Travilla skirt suit a statement in leopard print. The coordinating high-waisted skirt finishes just above the knee, while black satin lining and a silky-draping synthetic blend give the set its polished finish. Wear both pieces for the full power-dressing effect, or separate the jacket and skirt for a different mood. Modern size: US 12. Model Kaelin is 5’2” and wears size 12. Product Description:

Vintage power dressing never looked this unapologetic. This rare 1980s leopard print skirt suit by legendary designer Travilla is pure statement dressing with just the right amount of Studio 54 energy.

The jacket features puffed sleeves, strong shoulders, and an elongated silhouette with bold sequin paneling scattered throughout the animal print. Fully lined with a single-button closure, it’s tailored without being restrictive. The coordinating skirt is high-waisted and structured, finishing just above the knee with a classic hemline. The fabric is a drapey synthetic blend with a subtle sheen—lightweight and breathable, yet substantial enough to hold shape. Fully lined. Buttons are plastic.

About the Designer:
 William Travilla (1920–1990) was a costume designer turned fashion powerhouse, best known for dressing Marilyn Monroe, including the iconic white dress from The Seven Year Itch. A multi-award-winning Hollywood figure, Travilla brought his dramatic flair to the ready-to-wear world in the 1980s, blending screen-worthy glamour with wearable silhouettes. His namesake line became a staple among women seeking elevated statement pieces.

Everything was clean, well sorted, in good condition, and I even found some pieces that still had tags on them! 5 stars for what they are doing for the community but not for my personal experience. They were listed on the wildfire Google sheet / website as one of the few places still accepting donations, so I brought all my unworn clothes over. The address on the website and online is not the correct one, so had to get back in my car and find new parking closer to the new location. Then I get inside and they said donations are by appointment only. 30 minute drive and a lot of parking hassle with nothing to show for it. An absolute gem of a boutique, with a constant stream of unique vintage pieces! I was able to get the perfect dress, pumps, handbag, and hat for a formal tea at very short notice. The store is easy to access in the second floor of a fashion design building.

This humble little vintage shop, is a HIDDEN GEM in downtown Los Angeles. If ya "blink" ya jus might miss this sweet little treasure chest.. The owners prices R VERY AFFORDABLE. Did I jus say,"affordable?" I did NOT know that word still eXisted in fashion these daze, haha !! NO joke, she will sincerely work with ya on pricing. Quirk is a great place to rent or buy unique clothing. Melynda has curated such a great variety of items. I rented a gorgeous gown for a work event and bought multiple things including a vintage Italian suit that I get complimented on all the time. Love this store & Melinda beyond BEYOND She is so helpful and creative. Her fashion sense and charm will bring about the perfect outfit for any occasion. I had such a wonderful time at Quirk. As someone who has never been to a fashion district and who has never been styled before,  I hadn't extraordinary time getting to know my own sense of fashion. Melynda was so dope and helpful. She helped style me and gave me a new fresh look. I ended up buying something off of the $20 rack so she has affordable options as well. Definitely coming back again for my next shopping trip!
