Quirk is the kind of place you walk into and immediately feel like you've inherited the wardrobe of a rich, eccentric aunt who traveled the world and kept all the best pieces. Every rack feels intentional, lived in, and full of personality. Nothing feels random. Each item has a story, and you can sense it the moment you start browsing.

The bag selection alone is worth the stop. There are so many standout pieces that feel like true finds, not just resale. The kind of bags you don't see twice.

What really makes this place special is the owner, Melynda. She's genuinely fun to talk to and clearly passionate about what she curates. You can tell there's pride and care behind every piece in the shop. Talking with her about vintage fashion and the stories behind the items made the experience feel personal, not transactional.

Melynda totally saved the day!  She came on a magical unicorn and brought me my dress!  I was searching for a dress for a wedding that went with their Great Gatsby theme and was totally not sure where to begin and what to wear.  She helped me find a necklace and a dress here at the shop that was absolutely perfect!  I got a gold and gunmetal tassel necklace and a robin egg's blue lace Tracy Reese dress.  She was even kind enough to alter the shoulders for me since the wedding was the day of!  They even had a funny wedding card that for the bride and groom!  Mission accomplished, now just have to get a scarf or headpiece for my head to complete the theme and Melynda gave me some tips!!  Will be back for next time when I need her expertise. I worked with Melynda on a professional photoshoot for my company and ever since then I have been going to her store. Such a great way to change up my style and find new unique items. I had a really good experience at Quirk. Its located in DTLA which is known to give you headaches with parking. Luckily there were several fairly priced garage options on the same block. The shop is located on the second floor of this cool, early 20th century style building. I love vintage buildings so I was hyped before I even stepped into Quirk. But once inside I was really digging the vibes. They have a really selection of vintage, modern clothes for women and men. With assistance of the curator, Melynda, I was able to grab a few items for an upcoming headshot session. I didn't have to break the bank as the items I purchased were from a $20 rack. I am such a shop-aholic at her store. I love her dresses and shoes. The owner always put a great story behind every outfit and whom she did her work. The owner, Melynda is AMAZING Stylist in the business. Her work is ABSOLUTELY amazing and her dog Prudence who comes into the store makes the vibe very loving and friendly. Quirk is WONDERFUL! Small but mighty, always new and exciting finds, plus the real deal when it comes to fashion and expression. Owned by a stylist/awesome fashionista, with a passion and drive that offers the best experience in vintage shopping. I got the most gorgeous silk blouse...and some shoes that fit me like Cinderella! 

If you live in Los Angeles, you know how hard it is to find awesome vintage at a reasonable price. From the fight over Dior at a thrift store, to the snobby and over priced 'bo-ho' Buffalo Exchange, to the trendy and overly pretentious places on Melrose-it's just another face in the crowd, on the scene.

It was my 2nd or 3rd time browsing the site, and my first time purchasing from it. I was familiar with the site and brand (was recommended by a close friend of mine who has good taste), and decided to check it out. I liked the layout of the site, made it pretty easy to look for what I like, and found what I wanted in like 4 minutes after browsing. Paying was straightforward, I received the package in about 10 days (flat fee for shipping), and it fit pretty well. I have volunteered at the Fire Relief Free Boutique founded by Melynda for over a month and the whole experience has been amazing, I have seen people affected by the fires leaving the free boutique with a smile on their face after the free shopping experience, that’s something that fulfills the soul.

Quirk shop & wear is so cool. I bought two shirts form there and everywhere I go
