Shoes wearing shoes. The Quirk Feet High-Top Sneakers put our photographic legs-and-heels print against bright turquoise, with white laces, toe caps and trim framing the image. The joke is in the detail, but the color makes itself known from across the room.
The canvas upper gives the print a matte, casual setting. Metal eyelets and a lace-up front keep the familiar high-top shape, while a narrow black stripe breaks up the white rubber sole. They are modern, made-to-order sneakers with a deliberately playful point of view.
Cuff your jeans above the top of the shoe to show the whole print, or wear them with a pleated skirt and a fine knit. A simple white tee and dark trousers will make the turquoise the focus. If you like more color, try a green sock that picks up the shoes within the print.
They also make a good interruption to something quite proper: tailored shorts, a neat cardigan or a straight midi skirt. Keep the hem clear of the ankle so the high-top outline remains visible. You can let the rest of the outfit be clean and still have a little fun at ground level.
