Classical faces, with somewhere better to be than a museum. Our Greco-Roman velvet opera gloves set Quirk’s original hand-drawn illustration against a deep burgundy ground. Black lines pick out the curls and profiles of the pale busts; crushed velour gives the print a shifting, light-catching surface.
The long silhouette makes the most of the artwork. Wear them with a sleeveless black dress to leave the print uninterrupted, or let the cuffs disappear beneath a tailored jacket. A plain outfit gives the faces room; a burgundy accent elsewhere brings the look together.
Measure around your knuckles, then measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of your hand. Compare both measurements below. These are hand measurements, not clothing-size equivalents; a Small glove does not mean a Small dress size. For an idea of where the top will sit, measure 16 inches up your arm from the wrist.
