Yellow star opera gloves with a character of their own. The You Are a Star print features a star in cat-eye sunglasses and black boots, drawn by Quirk founder and designer Melynda using watercolor pens. Black outlines stand out against a white ground, while crushed velvet gives the illustration a soft sheen.
This is Melynda’s original hand-drawn artwork. Asked whether the character is a boy or a girl, her answer is simple: “It’s a star!” That playful independence feels right at home on a pair of long evening gloves. Meet Melynda and learn more about Quirk.
These long gloves are handmade to order in stretchy velour. The over-elbow silhouette gives the star print room to run from the fingers up the arm, with approximately 16 inches (40.6 cm) from wrist to hem. The exact position above your elbow will depend on your arm length. Each order includes one pair, and either glove can be worn on either hand.
Use a tape measure around your knuckles and from the tip of your middle finger to the base of your hand. Compare both measurements with this chart. The measurements describe your hand, not the finished glove. If you fall between sizes or the measurements suggest different sizes, contact us for sizing help before ordering.
