It was my 2nd or 3rd time browsing the site, and my first time purchasing from it. I was familiar with the site and brand (was recommended by a close friend of mine who has good taste), and decided to check it out. I liked the layout of the site, made it pretty easy to look for what I like, and found what I wanted in like 4 minutes after browsing. Paying was straightforward, I received the package in about 10 days (flat fee for shipping), and it fit pretty well. I had a really good experience at Quirk. Its located in DTLA which is known to give you headaches with parking. Luckily there were several fairly priced garage options on the same block. The shop is located on the second floor of this cool, early 20th century style building. I love vintage buildings so I was hyped before I even stepped into Quirk. But once inside I was really digging the vibes. They have a really selection of vintage, modern clothes for women and men. With assistance of the curator, Melynda, I was able to grab a few items for an upcoming headshot session. I didn't have to break the bank as the items I purchased were from a $20 rack. Quirk is WONDERFUL! Small but mighty, always new and exciting finds, plus the real deal when it comes to fashion and expression. Owned by a stylist/awesome fashionista, with a passion and drive that offers the best experience in vintage shopping. I got the most gorgeous silk blouse...and some shoes that fit me like Cinderella! 

If you live in Los Angeles, you know how hard it is to find awesome vintage at a reasonable price. From the fight over Dior at a thrift store, to the snobby and over priced 'bo-ho' Buffalo Exchange, to the trendy and overly pretentious places on Melrose-it's just another face in the crowd, on the scene.

I highly recommend supporting this local business. The owner Melynda has been so generous in helping out fire victims by creating a pop up free clothing boutique, and volunteering her time there. I volunteered at Quirk all afternoon today, and there is so much love and support alive in that space. They are overwhelmed with so many incredible donations and every single thing is being sorted and placed directly into the free shop where fire victims can come shop and get what they need. All items are the same quality you would find in a thrift store like Buffalo Exchange. There were volunteers helping people find clothing items that fit and served their needs while they’re grappling with the loss of their homes and belongings. Quirk is the kind of place you walk into and immediately feel like you’ve inherited the wardrobe of a rich, eccentric aunt who traveled the world and kept all the best pieces. Every rack feels intentional, lived in, and full of personality. Nothing feels random. Each item has a story, and you can sense it the moment you start browsing.

The bag selection alone is worth the stop. There are so many standout pieces that feel like true finds, not just resale. The kind of bags you don’t see twice.

What really makes this place special is the owner, Melynda. She’s genuinely fun to talk to and clearly passionate about what she curates. You can tell there’s pride and care behind every piece in the shop. Talking with her about vintage fashion and the stories behind the items made the experience feel personal, not transactional.

This is Amazing what Melynda  with Quirk has done to help the residents of the LA Fires! She jumped in without hesitation and put her own biz in hold to help others in need.  Taking in donations from everyone kindly donating including myself gathering toiletries and rolling racks with the help from the   people in my home town Santa Barbara! 
She created a Free shopping boutique with very stylish clothes , shoes, handbags and also stuff for kids! 
Also added in Hair and facial services so people can feel good during these trying times! 
She's amazing and thank you for everything you are doing! You Rock girl!!!

So thankful for Quirk and their pop up for folks affected from the fires! I've been able to stop by a few times to pick up much needed items after losing my things from the fires. They offer everything from clothing, shoes, hygiene items, accessories, and you'll find a combination of brand new and gently used items. The volunteers are literally the sweetest and most helpful. One of the coolest places I’ve stumbled upon thus far. Unlike some other vintage stores where it feels like it’s full of marked-up Goodwill items, Melynda takes the time to research and select all the items she puts out in the store. When I stopped by, she even let me look through some items she hadn’t put out yet, and I found a really cool vintage Western button-up. The men’s section is not neglected either, full of some really cool shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, and other accessories. If you’re looking to find a unique piece in a friendly environment, this is the place for you.
