This Sistine Chapel sweatshirt puts the ceiling on your sleeves and a giant rope print across your torso. Quirk’s Tied Up at Sistine design pairs gray, almost sculptural twists with blue-and-beige Renaissance figures. The texture is a photographic print on smooth fabric, with brushed fleece waiting on the inside.

  • Crew neck, long sleeves, drop shoulders and a relaxed unisex fit.
  • Soft, cotton-feel face and brushed-fleece interior; the fabric contains no cotton.
  • Recycled polyester with elastane: 96%/4% for US and Mexico production; 95%/5% for Latvia production.
  • Fabric weight: approximately 308 g/m², with a possible 5% variation.
  • Handmade to order.

Wearing it

Let the print do the talking with straight-leg denim and simple shoes, or wear it over a crisp shirt with the collar showing. The rope motif gives the front a sense of depth without the bulk of cable knit.

The white fabric base can show slightly at seams or folds in darker printed areas. Follow the care label on the finished garment.

I love this boutique! It's clear the owner Melynda has thoughtfully hand-picked and carefully curated an amazing collection of designer vintage and secondhand pieces. She has a fantastic selection of designer shoes and purses, and everything is in A+ condition or is like new! Melynda herself is super personable and always happy to help you find befitting pieces. There's also a superb selection of men's clothes and she has her own original designs for sale as well! So far I've bought two pairs of velvet gloves from her in-house label and I LOVE them! I get tons of compliments whenever I wear them. The designs are so unique, and the quality and construction are top notch. She's even making me a custom pair of pants using the same fabric as the gloves so I can have a matching set to wear to the Dreamstate Festival later this year! Upon having dinner in DTLA a friend and I stumbled upon QUIRK, what a treasure of a vintage store. A hidden gem!!! An insider's secret.. but not for long. Loved Melynda's eye for well curated vintage clothing and accessories. Working as a stylist in Films and Editorial, Melynda is defintely on point. The Staff at The People’s Free Boutique is amazing.  These folks make the space come alive and fill it with positive energy and a high level of support. The clothes are well organized by sizes and styles. Learning about the journey that the organizers took to make this boutique a reality was very inspiring to me.  I learned that this idea became a reality on January 8th - one day after the fire.  This shows the passion, planning, and drive of the staff. So thankful for Quirk and their pop up for folks affected from the fires! I've been able to stop by a few times to pick up much needed items after losing my things from the fires. They offer everything from clothing, shoes, hygiene items, accessories, and you'll find a combination of brand new and gently used items. The volunteers are literally the sweetest and most helpful. Went by on a Saturday with my daughter.  Melynda was awesome and helpful, as always.  We both found things we needed.  What I appreciate about Melynda is the personal service and how she honestly cares about if something is "right" for you or not. My mom and I found the Peoples Free Boutique by Quirk after the fires devastated our neighborhood in Altadena. We've been building care boxes for an entire group of people, not just ourselves, and were welcomed into the space. It allowed us to recreate beautiful closets in a safe space, which has become harder to find as the relief efforts continue in the second wave. Very grateful for the energy and dedication that Melynda and her team of volunteers had shown to our community!! Go check out the Peoples Free Boutique on Spring St if you've been impacted by the fires they will help you rebuild and feel fabulous! If you weren't impacted by the fires but want to support Quirk for now you would message Melynda on Instagram to set up a shopping appointment!
