This Sasson wool skirt suit is a late-1970s three-piece set in cream wool crepe. An open-front jacket, coordinating shell and straight skirt create a clean column of color. Delicate embellishment runs down the jacket’s front edges and across the shell’s neckline, adding detail without a large print.
The jacket has softly rounded, structured shoulders, long sleeves and a collar that stands slightly away from the neck. Its open front leaves the matching shell visible. The skirt fastens with a zipper and button at the waist and falls around the knee on Jackie. The three pieces are sold together; the boots in the photographs are styling accessories.
