A pink lotus bud fills the front of this lotus print crop tee, with deep green leaves behind it and petals continuing across the short sleeves. The image comes from an original 35mm photograph taken at Echo Park Lake in Los Angeles by Quirk founder and designer Melynda Choothesa. The close crop brings the photograph’s soft focus and rounded petals into everyday dressing.
A round neckline and straight, cropped hem keep the shape simple. The smooth mid-weight jersey has stretch, with a regular fit that leaves room to move. Wear it with high-waisted denim for a little early-2000s proportion, or under an open jacket with the flower showing through.
