David on the Butt puts its classical portrait exactly where the name suggests. These art print bikini bottoms pair a blue, clouded sky at the front with an oversized image of David across the back. The high waist gives the print room, while the curved leg line keeps the silhouette clean.
The sky comes from a 35mm photograph taken above JFK by Quirk founder and designer Melynda on a trip to New York Fashion Week. A digital photograph of David is layered over that film image to create the print.
The smooth recycled stretch fabric has a double layer and a pale blue lining. These bottoms are non-reversible, with a high-rise waistband and a close fit. Wear them with the matching David bikini top to carry the clouds through the full set, or let the portrait stand on its own with a simple solid-color top.
Fabric composition varies by production location: 75% recycled polyester and 25% elastane for pieces made in the US or Mexico; 88% recycled polyester and 12% elastane for pieces made in Latvia. Check the garment label for the exact composition of your pair.
Rinse thoroughly after swimming to remove salt or chlorine, and follow the care label. Avoid rough pool edges and hook-and-loop fasteners that can snag the fabric.
