David in the Clouds puts a Renaissance profile against a Los Angeles designer’s view of the sky. These cloud print bike shorts feature a digital photograph of David layered over 35mm clouds photographed above JFK by Quirk founder and designer Melynda during a trip to New York Fashion Week. The oversized face runs down one leg, with blue sky and white clouds across the high waistband.
A close-fitting silhouette, short leg and four-way stretch keep the artwork in focus. The wide waistband has a narrow elastic inside, while flat seams and a gusset allow room to move. Wear them with a cropped tee or under an oversized shirt; the print does the rest.

Available in XS–XL. Measure around the narrowest part of your waist and the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape level. These are body measurements, not the width of the garment laid flat. If you fall between sizes, choose the larger size.

The smooth stretch fabric is polyester and elastane. Composition depends on where your pair is made: 75% recycled polyester and 25% elastane for US/Mexico production, or 82% polyester and 18% elastane for Latvia production. The sewn-in label identifies your pair’s composition and care instructions. Avoid rough surfaces, which can snag the fabric and pull white fibers through the print.
