Modern / Present day | Quirk Interstellar Planet Print Gloves

A solar-system print on smooth, lightweight stretch gloves. Interstellar brings actual satellite imagery to a shorter silhouette covering the hand and wrist, with planets against black and a burst of light at the cuff. The lightweight Lycra has a matte surface, keeping the planets readable against the dark star field. Wear the short cuff below a black jacket sleeve or beside the bare wrist of a simple sleeveless dress. The ambidextrous construction lets either glove fit either hand. Description

Interstellar planet print gloves put the solar system at your fingertips. Planets cross a dark star field, with a burst of light at the wrist. Based on actual satellite imagery, the print brings colour and scale to a small accessory: try it against the cuff of a black jacket or with a simple sleeveless dress.

Planet print gloves in smooth stretch fabric

This shorter Interstellar style uses lightweight Lycra with a matte surface. The fabric stretches around the hand, and the ambidextrous construction allows either glove to be worn on either hand. Each order contains one pair.

Find your glove size

Measure around your knuckles and from the tip of your middle finger to the base of your hand at the wrist crease. Compare both measurements with the chart. Large and XL have the same knuckle range, but XL allows for a longer hand. If you are near a size boundary, choose the larger size.

This store is about as good as it gets when it comes to second-hand, quality, and well known products. I can't speak as much on the women's section, but the men's had a very wide range of styles and brands. From amazing Ralph Lauren denim to classy vintage coats this place has the works. Not only is it a gem for its wares, but the owner of the place is just wonderful. She is nice and will help you find exactly what you're looking for, and maybe even something you didn't even know you needed. My pickups from my first time included a navy Air Force Peacoat, a cashmere v-neck sweater and a pair of that amazing Ralph Lauren denim that I mentioned. Quirk is WONDERFUL! Small but mighty, always new and exciting finds, plus the real deal when it comes to fashion and expression. Owned by a stylist/awesome fashionista, with a passion and drive that offers the best experience in vintage shopping. I got the most gorgeous silk blouse...and some shoes that fit me like Cinderella! 

If you live in Los Angeles, you know how hard it is to find awesome vintage at a reasonable price. From the fight over Dior at a thrift store, to the snobby and over priced 'bo-ho' Buffalo Exchange, to the trendy and overly pretentious places on Melrose-it's just another face in the crowd, on the scene.

Quirk is the kind of place you walk into and immediately feel like you've inherited the wardrobe of a rich, eccentric aunt who traveled the world and kept all the best pieces. Every rack feels intentional, lived in, and full of personality. Nothing feels random. Each item has a story, and you can sense it the moment you start browsing.

The bag selection alone is worth the stop. There are so many standout pieces that feel like true finds, not just resale. The kind of bags you don't see twice.

What really makes this place special is the owner, Melynda. She's genuinely fun to talk to and clearly passionate about what she curates. You can tell there's pride and care behind every piece in the shop. Talking with her about vintage fashion and the stories behind the items made the experience feel personal, not transactional.

This is such a fabulous find! A true gem tucked away in DTLA!! I went looking for vintage men’s items to match a watch I was gifted, and Melynda helped me pick out the most beautiful suit. She’s amazing too - she has the most fun and quirky style, but also donates clothes to victims of the wildfires. She gave me a tour of “The People’s Free Boutique” and it’s laid out to make those who have lost everything feel like they are really shopping for high-end items rather than getting things for free.
