Description
A striking pair of 1980s Giorgio Beverly Hills pumps assembled from contrasting panels of suede and leather.
The front shifts between warm brown suede and finely reptile-embossed leather, while the heel counters deepen into a rich russet red. Black bands cross the toe and sides with oversized ivory and metallic lettering, giving the shoes a collage-like graphic quality.
The pieced construction is bold, but the silhouette remains streamlined. An elongated almond-to-pointed toe keeps the different textures visually sharp, while the tapered bronze-tone heels add a sculptural line from the rear.
Metallic pewter-toned insoles carry woven Giorgio Beverly Hills labels with the brand’s equestrian crest. The outsoles are marked 9½ M, Leather Upper, and appear to indicate that the soles were made in Italy.
Wear them with a black trouser suit, narrow dark denim, a slim leather skirt, or a minimal knit dress. They also work beautifully within a tonal palette of tobacco, oxblood, rust, chocolate, and bronze.

Fit Notes
Marked women’s US 9.5 M and estimated to best fit a modern US 9.5 medium-width foot.
The toe narrows considerably toward the front, so the pair may feel more fitted through the forefoot than a rounded modern pump. The elongated toe extends beyond the natural toe line and should not be interpreted as extra usable interior length.
For additional fit confidence, compare the interior footbed length and widest outsole measurement with a similarly shaped pump already in your wardrobe.
Condition
Good Vintage Condition.
The mixed-material uppers remain structurally intact and retain their strong patchwork design. Visible wear includes uneven darkening, surface marks, and noticeable discoloration across the brown suede panels, particularly along one vamp.
The embossed leather sections show scuffing, small dark marks, and age-related rubbing. The black graphic bands have edge abrasion and areas of finish loss, including visible wear at the toe tips.
The metallic-toned insoles show creasing, rubbing, and tarnishing from previous use. The outsoles have substantial forefoot abrasion, while the bronze-tone heels show scratches, rubbing, and wear at the tips.
The shoes retain their overall shape, and no major upper tears or obvious sole separation are visible in the supplied photographs. Please review all images closely, especially the suede panels, graphic bands, toe edges, insoles, heel tips, and outsoles.
Styling Notes
Let the shoes act as the graphic element in an otherwise restrained outfit. Pair them with black tailoring, dark denim, a fitted knit dress, or a slim leather skirt.
For a more maximal approach, combine them with an oversized 1980s blazer, metallic accessories, or a print that repeats the rust, tobacco, and oxblood tones.
Curation Note
Each Quirk piece is hand selected by our team for quality, construction, styling potential, and point of view.
Brand Verification Note
The Giorgio Beverly Hills woven labels, equestrian crest, size markings, and upper-material stamp are visible in the supplied photographs. No Stuart Weitzman maker mark is visible on this pair.
