These star print trousers give Quirk’s You Are a Star artwork room to move: yellow stars in cat-eye sunglasses and black boots repeat across a purple ground, with the changing texture of crushed velour beneath them.
Quirk founder and designer Melynda drew the character by hand with watercolor pens. People ask whether it’s a boy or a girl. Her answer: “It’s a star!” The sunglasses, boots and unapologetic pose are all part of the original drawing.
A wide leg gives the print a generous canvas. The elasticated waist has an adjustable drawstring, and lined side pockets keep the shape useful beyond the photograph. Wear them with a close-fitting top to emphasize the volume, or repeat the artwork with the You Are a Star bandana.
The model photographs show the crushed velour trousers. Top, bandana and other styling accessories are sold separately.
Use your waist and hip measurements to choose a size, with particular attention to the hips. The chart describes body measurements, not the dimensions of the finished trousers. Measure around your natural waist and the fullest part of your hips; keep the tape level without pulling it tight. The inch ranges are rounded.

Turn inside out before washing at 30°C / 86°F. Use low tumble heat; do not wring. If ironing is needed, use low heat on the reverse of the printed side.
