A Hollywood collection with a life behind it
- Signed original costume drawings by Edith Head and Bob Mackie, with additional costume illustrations and sketches.
- Behind-the-scenes Angela Lansbury photographs from Murder, She Wrote, movie and theatre posters, and entertainment memorabilia.
- Period Art Deco sketches and furniture alongside early-1980s Art Deco Revival furnishings.
- Selected designer men’s clothing, vintage menswear, set pieces, books, recordings and decorative objects.
Tom worked alongside costume designers throughout a long film and television career. He edited The Murder, She Wrote Cookbook, wrote They Did It With Their Clothes On, and was working on a book about costume designer Yvonne Wood when he passed. Away from the set, he sang in Los Angeles cabaret rooms, including The Gardenia. His collection brings those interests together: clothes, music, screen history and a keen eye for a theatrical detail.
